The Horta Museum is installed in the home-cum-studio (1898) formerly owned by Victor Horta. It is one of the iconic buildings to be found in the Brussels Capital Region. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is notable for its luminous, refined interiors.
The Museum is very active in the fields of scientific research, both through its rich programme of exhibitions and publications, and through the constant care it devotes to restoring and maintaining this fragile building. The Museum is committed to the community, and we are working hard to provide easy access to all our visitors. In this way, we ensure that vulnerable and very young members of the public have a visitor experience especially adapted to their specific needs. Victor Horta received a great many friends and clients in his home, and we are keen to reconnect with that tradition. By becoming a partner of the Museum, you too can enjoy a dinner in the dining room, just as his guests did in earlier times.
